I am a former assistant prosecutor in Butler County, Ohio and now represent a variety of cases. From the time I was 15, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer. My dad was in practice as a prosecuting attorney, and I followed in his footsteps and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati. Together, my father and I have a combined experience of over 55 years. Rick’s father also worked for my dad as a police officer, so the two of us have a long history together. I think close-knit upbringing shows in the synergy we bring to the resolution of our various legal matters.

Rick and I have opposing strengths, so we complement each other well. Our friends and family know me as the calm and cautious one. I strive to carry myself in a collected manner because if I don’t have my act together, how can my clients trust that I can handle the enormous pressure of using the law on their behalf? In addition, I pride myself on providing prompt and effective service. The most common complaint clients have is that their attorneys never call them. That will never happen at Holcomb & Hyde, LLC.

I have taken cases no one else would and won.

The best part of my job, as many other lawyers would say too, is truly getting to help people. I have won money for clients that has changed their lives, and I have taken cases no one else would and won. I even represented a case all the way up to the Ohio Supreme Court, which is easily the most memorable experience I’ve had in my legal career.

Outside of the office, I enjoy photography. My favorite things to shoot are sports and racetrack events. However, I also like to shoot guns at the range and spend time with my wonderful wife and kids.
